• Backyard Tire Fire has released a new EP entitled Skin & Bones featuring 6 songs, including two unleased studio tracks, two live tracks and two songs from the upcoming full-length CD, Vagabonds and Hooligans, due early in February '07. See their page for details.
• vonFrickle wowed the crowd at the Prog in the Park Festival in Rochester, NY earlier this month, making a lot a new friends and fans. The organizers were absolutely fantastic to both the band and o.i.e. personel who attended, as were the other bands and the crowd. Speaking of the crowd, they were very respectful, very complimentary, and generally just a great group of people. It's nice to hang with people who genuinely love music and the talent that lies behind it - very much what this label is all about! There should be more of these kind of gatherings...
